Our Worship

"Sharing the Light of Christ through Worship, Service, and Discipleship"

We believe in sharing and being the light of Jesus Christ to a dark and hurting world. We love to worship God and serve God's world together, side by side. Our congregation represents a wide spectrum of people from in and around Hico, Texas, who want to be true disciples of Jesus by sharing God's love through both actions and words.

Music Ministry

"I will sing of your love and justice; to you, Lord, I will sing praise."

Make a Joyful Noise is the name of our chancel choir. They understand their role of leading the congregation in worship by making sure they joyfully engage in worship themselves. Having a heart for worship is the primary qualification for singing in our choir.

The chancel choir practices every Sunday afternoon at 5:45

Children and Family Ministry

"All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace."

Having a foundation of faith early in life has a profound impact on the future of our world. We are committed to the faithful support of worship experiences for all the area children and families. We offer a Children's Church during normal worship hours. Our afterschool program called "Time Out With God" (TOWG) is a bible-centered program that offers grades K-5 an opportunity to worship through story time, games, music, and crafts. Our Family Re-Union events offer a safe and welcoming place for families to gather for food, fun, and fellowship.

Youth Ministry

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go"

We welcome all youth in the greater Hico community. Growing up is hard and sometimes even harder to live out the Christian life, especially on your own. Come join us in our loving and welcoming environment where we support each other in our faith journeys. Each week we share food and fellowship with Bible studies, games, crafts, and mission projects to promote hope and healing.
