Sunday Worship is in a traditional format and through the fellowship, prayers, music, liturgy, preaching, or receiving of the Sacraments, worshippers experience God's presence and are inspired to be sent into the places they inhabit to love God and love others as themselves.
Music Ministry
"I will sing of your love and justice; to you, Lord, I will sing praise."
The chancel choir serves God through giving their gift of music and worship leadership. The choir extends an open invitation to anyone who wishes to participate.
Rehearsals are held almost every Sunday afternoon at 5:30

A foundation of faith early in life has a profound impact on the life trajectory of a child. First United Methodist Church of Hico is committed to the spiritual development of children and their families in a safe setting. We offer a Children's Church during Sunday morning worship.
Youth Ministry

First United Methodist Church of Hico invites youth to join in a safe, loving, and welcoming environment to grow in their journey of faith. Weekly youth gatherings include time of food and fellowship with Bible studies, games, crafts, and mission projects .
